About the standard
ISO 22301 sets out the requirements for a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) — a framework that helps organizations anticipate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptions. It applies to organizations of any type, size, or complexity, letting each adapt the standard to its own operating environment. The standard works both preventatively and evaluatively, helping organizations assess how well they can keep critical operations running through a crisis.
